The Otis H. Chidester museum is operated and maintained completely by volunteers. Volunteers are needed for building maintenance, groundskeeping, caretaking, renovation and other areas.

Our volunteers also preserve, catalog, and display the collections, provide guided tours, and manage operating funds, publicity, mailing, and membership lists.

Museum donations are gratefully accepted. If you have the time or a talent and would like to volunteer to help maintain/upgrade the museum, please call (520) 326-7669 for information, or email us here.

Although we enjoy living up to the Scout Law, "A Scout is Thrifty," we know that all organizations need funds to operate. Some of the Museum's operating funds are generated by paid memberships in the Museum.

If you are interested in preserving the history of Scouting in Southern Arizona, and would like to become a member of the Museum, please contact us. Members receive a Membership Certificate, Membership Card, and a Museum Patch, and you will receive the Museum Publications. You will also have voting privileges at the annual business meeting, plus invitations to special events at and for the Museum.

Please consider this your invitation to become a member of the Otis H. Chidester Scout Museum of Southern Arizona today!
